Principal’s Message
Welcome to Hamlin Middle School – Home of the Coyotes!

Hamlin family,

I’m Mrs. Bresk, and I’m truly honored to serve as the new principal of Hamlin Middle School. I’m stepping into a school with a strong foundation, thanks to the leadership of Dr. Suzanne Knight. Her dedication to making Hamlin a true reflection of our vibrant community is something I deeply admire—and it’s a vision I’m excited to continue building on.

Hamlin is more than just a place where learning happens, it’s a space where students grow, friendships form, and the spirit of our community shines through. My goal is to ensure every student feels safe, supported, and inspired every single day.

Here’s what we’re all about:

  • Belonging – Every student should feel seen, heard, and valued.
  • Academic Excellence – We offer rigorous, engaging academics, including high school-level courses and hands-on learning opportunities.
  • Opportunities to Explore – Through electives, athletics, clubs, and community partnerships, students can explore their interests and develop new skills.

Our electives are a highlight at Hamlin—from Agricultural Science and Business to Spanish, TV Production, and the arts. Programs like Art, Band, Chorus, Orchestra, and Theater help students express themselves and build confidence.

Athletics here are about more than just the game. They’re about teamwork, leadership, and school pride. With seasonal sports like soccer, volleyball, basketball, and track, students can try new things and grow both on and off the field.

We also offer a variety of clubs and partner with the Boys and Girls Club After School Program to give students even more ways to connect and thrive.

But what truly makes Hamlin special is our people, students, families, staff, and community. I invite you to be part of our school family. Whether you’re volunteering, attending events, or simply sharing your ideas, your involvement matters.

Here’s to a year full of learning, connection, and Coyote pride. I can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish together.

Go Coyotes!
