Welcome to Hamlin Middle School – Home of the Coyotes!

Hamlin Family,

I’m Mrs. Bresk, and I am truly honored to continue serving as the proud principal of Hamlin Middle School for the 2026–2027 school year. As I begin another year with this incredible community, I’m excited to keep building on the strong culture and traditions that make Hamlin such a special place.

Hamlin is so much more than a place where students come to learn. It’s where they grow into confident young people, build lasting friendships, and discover who they are. My commitment is simple and unwavering. Every student should feel safe, supported, and inspired each and every day they walk through our doors.

At Hamlin, we focus on creating a sense of belonging where every student feels seen, heard, and valued. We are equally committed to academic excellence, offering challenging and engaging coursework, including high school-level opportunities and hands-on learning experiences. Just as important, we believe in giving students the chance to explore their interests and passions, helping them discover new talents and build confidence along the way.

Our elective programs continue to be a highlight of the Hamlin experience. From Agricultural Science and Business to Spanish, TV Production, and the arts, students have countless opportunities to express themselves and grow. Programs like Art, Band, Chorus, Orchestra, and Theater allow students to shine in creative and meaningful ways.

Athletics also play an important role in building school pride and character. Whether students are competing in soccer, volleyball, basketball, or track, they are learning teamwork, perseverance, and leadership skills that will stay with them well beyond middle school.

Beyond the classroom, our clubs and partnerships, including the Boys and Girls Club After School Program, provide even more opportunities for students to connect, get involved, and feel a true sense of belonging.

What truly makes Hamlin special is our people. Our students, families, staff, and community are what bring this school to life. I encourage you to stay connected, get involved, and continue partnering with us. Your voice and your presence matter more than you know.

Here’s to another year filled with growth, connection, and Coyote pride. I can’t wait to see all that we accomplish together.

Once a Coyote, always a Coyote.

Mrs. Bresk, Principal
